Our Experiences

Two paths. One desert. Choose how you enter 1304H.

At Camp 1304H, every guest becomes a traveler crossing into the year 1304 Hijri (1887).

Your experience depends on who you arrive as, a Bedouin traveler or a 19th-century Orientalist visitor.

Explore your journey below.

The Orientalist Guest Experience

Available on Weekdays - Tailored for non-Arabic speakers

In the 19th century, traveling scholars, writers, and explorers ventured into the Arabian interior seeking knowledge, sketches, maps, and encounters. At Camp 1304, you follow their footsteps.

AlSheikh Dhafer and Hunaida speak only Najdi Arabic. A dedicated Time Guardian accompanies you through all interactions, serving as mediator, translator, cultural interpreter, safety guide, and etiquette coach.

You will follow the same Bedouin routes and rituals as our weekend guests—while receiving additional cultural context, linguistic explanations, and historical framing.

Even the hygiene and sanitization tools offered are based on 19th-century Western travel gear, historically accurate and era-authentic.

Available Orientalist Packages (Each one parallels the Bedouin guest experiences.)

Overnight (24 hours)
